Syncing is not the same as a backup
Sync services copy changes everywhere, including deletions. That's convenient, but it means a mistake can spread across every device. I'll explain the difference in plain terms and help you set up a sensible backup alongside your cloud storage, so there's a separate copy if something goes wrong.
