What exactly do I get for $600?

Do I have to pay the full amount upfront?
No. You pay a $300 deposit to begin the project and the remaining $300 before your website goes live. The deposit is credited towards the total $600 package price.
Will you write the website content?
Basic content writing is included. I'll write introductory business copy, standard service descriptions and basic contact information from the details you supply, within the agreed three-page scope. You provide accurate business details, your logo and any images. More extensive writing is an optional extra.
Do I need my own domain name and hosting?
Your website needs a domain and hosting to go live. I'll assist with standard domain connection and setting up a compatible hosting arrangement, but domain registration, renewals and hosting fees are paid by you and are separate from the $600 build.
Can I request changes before launch?
Yes. Two rounds of reasonable revisions are included before final approval. A revision round is one consolidated set of changes to the agreed design or content. Larger changes, additional pages and new functionality are quoted separately.
Will I own my website?
Yes. You own your completed website and relevant accounts, subject to the agreed project terms and applicable platform and licensing conditions. Where supported, your domain and hosting accounts are registered in your own name, and I'll assist with access and handover once payments are complete.
Can I add more pages or features later?
Yes. Additional pages, online bookings, online stores and other features are available as optional extras. They're individually quoted and approved before any additional work begins.
Can I edit the website myself?
Self-service editing and website management assistance is available as an optional extra. Editing capabilities depend on the selected website platform and configuration, so let me know if this matters to you and we can discuss the best approach.
How long will my website take?
Every website project is different. Your completion timeframe is confirmed individually after your requirements have been reviewed. It depends on the agreed scope, receipt of your business information, required account access, feedback and final approvals.
What happens after launch?
Your website includes a 14-day post-launch correction period covering reproducible issues attributable to the agreed build. Your applicable consumer rights are unaffected. Beyond that period, ongoing support, content changes and future updates are available separately.
