Google Business Profile · Bairnsdale
Google Business Profile setup for East Gippsland businesses
Get your business showing up properly on Google Maps and local search. A fixed $199, GST inclusive, done remotely by a Bairnsdale local.
Why your Google Business Profile matters
When someone searches “electrician near me” or “café Lakes Entrance”, Google shows a map with three businesses before any website. Those spots go to businesses with a complete, accurate and active Google Business Profile. For many local businesses in East Gippsland it brings in more calls than the website does.
What’s included in the $199 setup
- Claiming and verification. I walk you through Google’s verification so the profile is properly yours.
- The right categories. The main category decides which searches you appear in, so it’s chosen carefully.
- Service areas. Every town you cover listed, from Bairnsdale out to Orbost, Omeo or Sale.
- Hours, phone and website. Consistent with your website so Google trusts the details.
- Description and services. Written the way locals actually search, without keyword stuffing.
- Photos. Guidance on the photos that help most, and help uploading them.
- A review link. A short link you can text to happy customers so reviews keep coming in.

Already have a profile?
Many profiles were set up years ago and never finished, or have the wrong category, a duplicate listing or an old phone number. I can tidy an existing profile for the same $199 and fix the details that stop it showing up.
Local SEO for East Gippsland
For businesses that want to rank in more towns, local SEO starts at $299. That covers town and service pages written for how people search here, such as “plumber Paynesville” or “accommodation Metung”, linked properly to your Google Business Profile.
Common questions
How much does Google Business Profile setup cost?
Setup is a fixed $199, GST inclusive. It covers verification, categories, service areas, hours, description, photo guidance and a review link. Tidying an existing profile is the same price.
Do I need a shopfront to have a Google Business Profile?
No. Service-area businesses like tradies and mobile services can list the towns they cover and hide their home address.
How long until my business shows up on Google Maps?
Verification can take from a few days to a couple of weeks. Once it’s verified and complete, most businesses start appearing for local searches within a few weeks, helped by steady new reviews.
Can you do this without visiting?
Yes. Everything is done remotely. I can set it up with you over a short remote session or by email, wherever you are in East Gippsland.
